Perfect! Lucas and Lola are perfect together!

There’s nothing I love more than a good enemies to lovers romance! I love the passion, the fire, the heat between the rivals! BUT throw in friends to lovers AND second chance and holy crap you have a great story! Blakely combines these three troupes Flawlessly! Luca and Lola were best friends in college. Then one heated night it became more. But that fizzled way before it got started. Then they became rivals. Now they’re forced to work together for their siblings and a weird scavenger hunt. Time will only tell what will happened between these two and their scouring the city for their siblings belongings. Lol! Love the storyline! The scavenger hunt was epic! And the characters chemistry was off the charts and their banter was awesome loved every minute of it!

Adventerous Romance

Lola and Lucas' story in One Night Stand-In was one fun adventure. Both had feelings for one another as students in college until one fateful weekend drove them apart. Now, ten years later their siblings have reached out to them to help them collect belongings of theirs that their very temperamental landlord has distributed all over NY. Realizing that Luna and Rowan would be deeply hurt if they did not retrieve their belongings back, they gladly decide to be the one night stand in's and go on a search for the missing items. Lola and Lucas agree to put the past behind them and try to go back to being friends. Each can vividly remember the one steamy kiss they shared in college and begin to wonder if they could recapture the intense feelings they had for each other now. As they work towards the common goal of helping their siblings, they begin to realize they still have feelings for each other and find themselves in a steamy lip-lock and looking for more. Can they really move on after their one night together? Lauren Blakely has written another book I consider a favorite!

Fun and sexy little adventure

One Night Stand-In is a fun and sexy little adventure. This fast paced, feisty second chance/enemies to lovers rom com is all witty banter and crazy hot sexual chemistry. Lucas Xavier from São Paulo and Lola Dumont from Miami are great together. Tasked with recovering his brother's and her sister's belongings after the landlord hides them all around town, these pseudo exes are sent on a wild scavenger hunt and must work together to collect all their items. Unfortunately, they have a less than ideal past that ended their friendship or any potential relationship almost a decade prior and steered them more into enemies territory. I really enjoyed seeing Lola and Lucas work through their past mistakes and regrets because these two are fire together. I loved the back and forth and the flirting. I do wish the enemies to lovers banter would have lasted a little longer. They went from bickering to banging maybe a tad bit prematurely. But overall I still enjoyed the story. If you're looking for a fun, lighthearted romance with tender moments, great dialogue and even better characters this is worth a pick up.

Loved it!!

One Night Stand-In was a fabulous second chance romance. This book was funny, steamy and never a dull moment. When Lucas and Lola have to work together to go on a scavenger hunt to save the belongings of their love struck siblings, they have to put their own past feelings of passion and hurt behind them. You will love finding out just how and what is uncovered on this journey!

Fun story with laughs and heat!

This is a fast paced, fun, quick read! Set in the Boyfriend Material Series world, we get Lola's story. Lola is on a mission for her little sister, who she practically raised as her own child. This mission also puts her back into the world of Lucas, her ex-friend and possibly more. But circumstances and immaturity had stopped it before it even began. Lucas is also wrangled into this mission by his younger brother, who he also practically raised as his own. But the love and enabling man that he is, he thinks that he can do this scavenger hunt with Lola with practicality and no feelings involved. Oh boy when Lola and Lucas meet up again the sparks fly and in no time at all the chemistry between them blazes white-hot. The friendship that was lost and the love that was stifled comes back in full force. The secondary characters are amazing and bring so much more to the story! Do I see hints of some new stories in the future too? I hope so! Another stellar story from Ms. Blakely, well done!

Another hit by Lauren Blakely!

I really enjoyed this original second chance, frenemies storyline. The banter between Lucas and Lola is entertaining and their chemistry sizzling hot. A great addition to this series.

5 Fun and Sexy Stars

One Night Stand-In by Lauren Blakely is the most perfect second chance/enemies-to-lovers rom-com! I adored Lola and Lucas so much! The characters are well-fleshed out and so much fun. Blakeley delivers fun and laughs in this sexy story and you won't be able to put it down until the very last page. With a shared past, Lola and Lucas start out as enemies. Blakely created the perfect way to bring these two strong, independent characters together.....the ultimate scavenger hunt! She brilliantly sends them on a doozy of an adventure and it had me laughing throughout. As the story progresses, these two begin to fall once again for each other and I loved watching them rekindle that romance they once shared (albeit briefly) now as adults. Written beautifully, Blakely once again shows why she's the unoffical Queen of Rom-Com! Don't miss this awesome book!! 5 stars

It took me one night to fall in love with this book!

Oh my goodness! This book made me smile then laugh in the very first chapter, and I knew I was going to be entertained for the whole book! And I was right! Lola and Lucas met in college, and they were friends first. Then they were more than friends for one night, but it all went wrong after that night due to extenuating circumstances. It also went wrong because they were young, foolish and scared. They weren’t friends anymore, so they became enemies. Fast forward 10 years, and Lola’s sister and Lucas’ brother are a couple. More extenuating circumstances occur, and Lucas and Lola need to scavenger hunt for their sibling’s personal belongings all over the city in a weekend. This was their chance to clear the air about 10 years ago, but they had still had chemistry. So they decide to get each other out of their systems (if you know what I mean!), then go back to being friends. Lola was smart, strong, bold, loyal, confident, yet she was scared about falling in love because of her parents. I adored her! Lucas was confident, smart, sexy, loyal, sometimes grumpy, yet he was also scared to fall in love because of his parents. I loved him, and he made me swoon! But what happens when they both realize they were in love 10 years ago and fell in love again in 24 hours? A sweet, sexy, quick, entertaining story about a couple getting a much deserved second chance at love that I fell in love with in one night! *I received an advanced copy of this ebook for my honest review.*

Enemies to lovers romance!

This is a fun second chance, enemies-to-overs read that is fast paced, comical and heartfelt and features interesting characters that are brought back together by their younger and somewhat irresponsible siblings. Both Lola and Lucas had to take responsibility for their younger siblings years ago and they take great pains to be good role models while also taking great pride in Luna and Rowan’s achievements. Great chemistry and witty banter have long been a combination in all of Lauren’s romantic comedies and while that can be fun I think it’s time for a change. I know they say you can’t get too much of a good thing but how about something dramatic for a change of pace? I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

One night stand....Also devoured in one night!

Ok...swoon...ok eek...ok squeal...I don’t want to give too much away. I mean, there are other reviews that give you clues...but, I, myself don’t love to read reviews that tell me the whole story. I call that a summary...I digress. Gurlllllll ( or guy) pick this book up fast if you want a super-fun, super - exciting and super-passionate read. I adore all of Lauren’s books and that’s no secret, but mane she keeps hitting them out of the park ( or city ...see that’s a clue!)! Hate to love, second chance, charm my pants off are some other tidbits to this story. As I said in my title, I read this in one night and could not stop. It was e-reader light glow all up in this house until I finished this beloved tale! PS Lucas is my new book boyfriend!!!

Loved It!

You know exactly what you are getting when you read a Lauren Blakely book..and that’s why I keep picking them up. She writes great characters, witty dialogue, hot sex scenes and wraps it all up with a big bow that has me smiling from start to finish. This is Book #3 in her Boyfriend Material series, but can be read as a standalone. The secondary characters here are mains from the previous books in the series, but you’ll enjoy them even if you haven’t read their books. This is Lucas & Lola’s story, two designers who met in college & had a great friendship that was lost over a romantic misunderstanding. Ten years older & wiser, the two are thrown back together when their younger siblings need help....and all those unresolved feelings come crashing back. This is a fun story that I think you’ll enjoy.

The One Night-Stand In is her latest release and features two best friends–to enemies–to friends–to lovers, one of my favorite romance tropes! In this romance, we visit the past when we learn that Lucas Xavier and his former beautiful BFF, Lola, shared one passionate kiss with hopes of more when they were in college. The story shifts from the past and into the present and you will learn how an unfortunate misunderstanding led to two crushed hearts who meet up a decade later to help their siblings. His brother and her sister, whom happen to be in love and on vacation, had their personal items purposely left all over town by a funny, clever, and ultimately vindictive landlord. SO FUNNY! So Lucas and Lola have no choice but to help their siblings retrieve their items one at a time, all in under 24 hours, as they work together to decipher clue after clue as to their whereabouts. This is where the joy of Lauren’s writing comes in. No two stories are ever alike, and this story is as engaging, witty, and original as I have come to expect. I am never disappointed and know that I will adore her characters. Lola depends on her girlfriends, Peyton and Amy who were featured in the previous two Boyfriend Material books in this series, to help her navigate her burning desire to be with her sworn enemy who after just one smile, is making her feel again. Lucas of course is not the enemy, he’s her everything, and I just adored how humble he was when trying to make things right. They both had so much in common and their easy banter and honest communication gave me all the feels. These two were so in-sync and had me smiling ear to ear the whole time as they tried to complete the task of the scavenger hunt, plus get to know each other as adults. Old flames never die as is evident in the One Night Stand-In because Lucas and Lola were HOT, HOT, HOT! I highly recommend you read their journey of self-discovery, and how they found their way back to their one true love.

A magnificent romance

One Night Stand-In was a fun, sweet, passionate read. Lola is the third in the friend group to get her story. Hers was a mix of a second chance and enemies-to-lovers. Lucas and Lola fit together so easily. They worked the same job, had similar family situations, and corresponding personalities. These two are back in each other’s lives thanks to their younger siblings and a crazy landlord. I enjoyed the scavenger hunt-it was entertaining. It definitely had me cracking up and smiling. And seeing their reconnection was sweet. They were just an adorable couple. Their interactions and banter was on point. Overall a magnificent story with great characters and storyline. I love being a part of Lauren’s fiction world-it’s always a blast.
